Bleach

First of all, I'm warning you that from here on I will not be giving any care to spoilers. Whatever I've seen or read, it has a possibility of being on here. So if you don't mind finding out about a major turning point or how something is going to end, then sure, go ahead and read. If not, I'm sorry.
~~~~~
When it comes to manga/anime, I'm usually very simple minded. If it's complicated then most likely I won't be able to tell you what's happening.
That's similar to the problem I have with Bleach.
No, not that bleach.
The amazing manga with cool battles, interesting story line, and good drawings (later on), but...there's too much.
One of my favorite characters is one of those captains, the guy with the ice zanpakuto. Don't ask me what his name is because I have no idea. He's the cool short ice dude. I just know who he is because of the awesome art and how one can easily differentiate between characters.
That guy --->
But why is he the cool short ice dude? Why can't I even remember my favorite character's name?
Well...it's mainly because of this:
Yeah, THAT.
But oh wait. Are all of the characters on there? I'm not really sure, since I don't know half of those on that picture anyway. Like, who's that one afro kid under that creepy Don guy? Don't know.
And I know this isn't mine, so sorry for insulting it, but why does Aizen get the biggest picture? Huh? Why not that microscopic square right next to him of Nel when she was cute and adorable and still had clothes on?
(Oh yeah, go Nel)
Or how about Orihime? She's one of the main characters. Uh, more so than Aizen. And Byakuya.
Well, whatever.
Another thing that I need to point out: the lines.
You know, the lines that show that something is going very fast. The speed lines.
I don't really know what they're called.
So, I get that Shinigami are really fast and all, so they need the speed line thingys, but in the manga it just gets plain confusing. I can never tell what's going on because the entire chapter is made of lines. That, and giant explosions.
Of course I understand that it can be difficult to draw speed, but other manga artists also use speed lines, and I don't need to stare at the picture for long periods of time to figure out what exactly it's a picture of.
In Naruto, for example, with it's amazing speed-line-creating-ninjas, it's very easy to understand without trying different methods of moving the book around. I just look it over like a normal picture where people are just standing around. Or a landscape.
But you know what? If you take out all of those bad line thingys, Bleach is amazing. Yeah, sure, there are a lot of characters, but every one of them looks different, has a different story, and (maybe?) has a different personality. The author is just plain incredible for making them all up.
Although I still don't like the lines.
check it out
So, my friend showed me this amazing website the other day. Well, really just this guy's videos on youtube about anime.
But they're AMAZING.
Click here to go to it, or type in anime zone on youtube. If those don't work, try typing in gigguk instead to find his page. BUT if you haven't heard of it before, be careful if you want to see it.
He swears a lot, and makes a few references. And...some fanservice may show up on one of the videos.
Other than that, they're so AWESOME. You'll find some of the most amazing must-watch anime on there.
He has a top 20 epically cool anime characters list, some anime reviews, and a few other videos.
They're lengthy, but you've gotta watch them if you like anime. They're also pretty funny most of the time.
The guy himself is cool too, with an awesome accent (sorry for being a stereotypical american, but I love it anyway), and awesome hair.
My friend and I have been trying to figure out how he gets it to stay like that.
So...check it out if you want.
My tastes in anime are strange
Yes, I am posting after ONE day. Don't ask why. I don't know.
I just am.
So, I wanted to say something about the first anime that I ever watched. But it wasn't before the ones that are aired in America, like Dragonball and all that jazz. It was the first one I actually had to look up on the computer.
That anime was Ouran Highschool Host Club.
That's right. I am completely in love with Ouran.
And I've just been wondering. How in the world did I start becoming an asian entertainment addict from THIS?
I mean, I started watching it DUBBED. Haruhi's voice was the only normal one. All of the others were at an extremely high pitch or just...weird. (Have you heard Tamaki's?)
Right now, if I'm not in the mood to laugh every time somebody talks, then of course I would just watch it with the original voices. Because, uh, English voices don't...sound...right.
But apparently I didn't think about that back then. Or I just didn't realize that it was made in Japan.
I don't know.
Well, I guess I liked it because of those "awesome moments" that can only be put in anime.
Sorta like that --->
Oh, Tamaki.
So annoying that I'm always holding back from punching you in the face, but I've gotta say, you can be so adorable that I don't even care.
Of course, that's only when he gets depressed and goes in his "emo corner". But I'm not saying that I'm this mean person or anything. It's Tamaki.
 And, I'm sorry, but what is with the faces of some anime characters? Seriously? The eyes take up half of Hunny's face. Without the hair.
And what's left, I have no idea, because it's just a DOT. What does a DOT mean?
Naw, I'm just kidding. I really do love how they're drawn. :D
Yeah, yeah, so what I REALLY don't get is how I got from Ouran to the genres of anime/manga I'm watching/reading right now.
But there are so many that I like, I'll only name a few:
Dragonball, Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass, Kuroko no Basuke...
And...a lot, lot more.
But where does this OURAN come from? Huh? What is THAT? It's a romantic comedy.
I don't like too much romance.
At all.
(well, maybe once in a while) BUT NOT THAT MUCH.
Just as a refreshing break if I'm bored or something.
But that's pretty rare.
Anyway. Sorry.
I'm thinking that it's just because it was my first actual anime (that I realized wasn't American), and even I have my girly moments, not counting the times I've been forced to wear a dress when I was little. I've only done that willingly about three times in my life.
I still prefer the jeans/t-shirt look, though.
Um...I had actually planned a lot to say, but this has turned into something completely meaningless.
Maybe it'll get better.
I have way too much time
Greetings. What am I doing? I have no idea. I've never done this before, so bare with me. Of course, I don't expect anybody to read this anyway. Nobody gets popular in a day, and I don't care if I'm not popular. Anyway. I'm making this because I want to (duh), and because I feel like sharing my opinion on things.
I'm sorry about this. It's just that I suddenly wanted to start a blog. So here I am.
Initially I wanted to talk about books, and how epic and terrible they are. But on that day I also realized that anime was so amazing that I wanted to talk about that, too. And you know what? I'm just gonna talk about whatever. Or rather...type.
Maybe this will get more interesting as time goes on. Or maybe not. I don't know. Maybe, in the end, this will turn into a diary of sorts. I would rather it didn't, though, for my own reasons.
But this is just an introductory post (which means it's completely meaningless). I'll make a real post later, but I have no idea when that will be. For now, though, just some warnings:
I am terrible with technology. There will probably be very few pictures, unless I can find decent ones on the internet. I most likely won't post any of myself. Anything else you can think of that requires devices other than a computer or a very simple mind, I probably won't do it. I can copy and paste. That's about it.
I like to write, and would like to eventually be a writer, but I find myself terrible at writing. Some people I know tend to say that I'm very good, and I have no idea if they're just saying that to make me feel good. Although, I tested out one of my pieces with my mom without telling her I wrote it, and she really liked it. So if I'm actually good at writing, lucky for you. If not, I'm sorry.
I'm very young. Still in school, living at home. I may not have enough time to post at set dates, or over long periods. Please don't expect too much from me.
My thoughts are also very random. I try to make it so that they connect, but they may change drastically between posts. For example, I could be talking about how awesome I think Bleach is, but then next time mention when I found a spider with a body the size of my thumb while in the northern US.
And there's that.
